donations build houses, too!

When you donate your-gently used items to one of the 7 Charlotte Region ReStores, you are changing lives by making affordable homeownership a reality for a family in your own community! Through the resale of your generous donations, we are able to help fund the construction and repair of homes with Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region.

Not only are you making a difference locally, you’re making a difference globally by preventing household items with plenty of life left from needlessly going to waste in a landfill!

Just have a few items to donate? All seven conveniently located Charlotte Region ReStore locations – Cornelius, Mooresville, Pineville, Statesville, University, Wendover, and Wilkinson – have donation drop-off areas with staff and volunteers available to assist you in unloading your items during business hours. In addition to furniture, appliances, home decor and home improvement items, we also accept books, DVDs, vinyl records, and VHS tapes.

Have questions? Call our Donation Hotline at 704.392.4495.

Schedule a Donation Pick-Up

If you have larger items to donate and need assistance getting them to a Charlotte Region ReStore location, we offer a FREE donation pick-up service for larger items. Simply click the button below, include pictures of the items you want picked up and our team will be in contact with you to confirm a time.

Due to Covid-19, all items scheduled for pick-up must be placed in garage, car port, or on ground floor entryway of home. For the health and safety of our clients and staff, we will not enter the home beyond the foyer and will maintain a safe social distance at all times.

We suggest scheduling your pick-up at least one week in advance as we often have a high volume of requests.
