How it Works

Scheduling a ReStore donation pickup is a three-step process designed for your convenience. To begin, you’ll choose between our standard or priority pickup service before completing our online scheduling form with details and photos of your items. Once confirmed, our team or trusted partners will handle the pickup, turning your donation into support for Habitat Charlotte Region.

01
Select Your Service

Choose the service that meets your needs: Free Standard Pick Up (completed within 3-5 days) or Priority Pick Up (completed within 48 hours – fees apply).

02
Complete the Form

Fill out our scheduling form, providing all necessary donation details and attaching photos of the items to ensure they meet our donation guidelines.

03
Donation Pick Up

On the scheduled day, our designated team—either the ReStore staff (Standard) or the our partners at Resupply (Priority)—will arrive to collect your donation.

Ways
to Pick-Up

To best fit your schedule, you can choose between our Free Standard Pick Up, typically completed within 3 to 5 business days, or the expedited Priority Pick Up service. Paid Priority Pick Up ensures your donation is collected within 24 hours, with additional fees that vary based on the items being donated.

Standard Pick-Up

The Charlotte Region ReStores offer a FREE donation pick-up service for larger items.

  • No cost
  • Standard pick-ups scheduled 3-5 days out from request
  • All items must be in a single location on a covered porch/patio, garage, driveway or first floor of the home only
  • Must meet our large item donation pick-up criteria

Paid Priority Pick Up

If you need your donation picked up in a hurry, or need items collected from multiple floors of your home, a Priority Pick-Up with our partners at ReSupply is the way to go!

  • Fee associated (dependent on number of factors)
  • Pick-ups within 48 hours
  • Item retrieval from anywhere within residence
  • Any and all items accepted (eligible items donated to ReStore; unusable items are ethically disposed of)
  • Disassembly of items that need it (except doors, cabinets or lighting)
